New API Style Output, Easier Import Options, and More

If you’re documenting software in any way, you’ve probably had the challenge of showing code and examples for different programming languages easily and tidily.

A popular way of solving this is a three-column format with the examples alongside the body content. Now you can publish to this format directly from Paligo, leveraging all the single-sourcing goodness at the same time!

Of course it’s completely customizable, so you can add your own touches to it.

The neat thing about it is, it is filtered “on the fly”. So your customer chooses what to see. Powerful authoring and fantastic delivery!

Yes, it’s been possible to import these formats before. But it had to be done offline. Now you have the option to import these formats directly in the Import Wizard. Try it out!

(And don’t worry, if you have more complex content, the offline option is still available if you need more tweak possibilities.)

You now have even more search options in Paligo’s advanced search, making it easier than ever to find just what you need when creating content. What’s more, search performance on very complex content has been significantly improved.

Not only have we improved the internal search in Paligo. We are also providing a new optional search for HTML5 output, blazingly fast, and with great features. Read more about it in the online help if you want to try it out!
